I have been in this body, on this planet, for 70 years. I do not know how much time is ahead of me. But, I know it is considerably less than has come before.

I have been a soldier and diplomat.

I have lived in Africa, Asia, the Mideast, Europe and the Americas.

My personal studies have stretched broadly over history, anthropology, philosophy, religion and the sciences.

I have witnessed war and famine.

I have experienced grief and happiness, joy and despair.

I place as much importance on dream worlds and unseen worlds as I do on the physical world around me.

I seek wisdom for myself, but also for others.

So that all of us can be content with a life well spent.
